How to Obtain Your Trial License Key
Getting your free trial license key is simple. Follow these steps to generate and integrate it:
- Go to the Trial License Page: Visit docs.scanbot.io/trial/
- Select Application Type: Choose if you need a license for a mobile or web application.
- Provide Application Identifier: Enter your App ID (for mobile apps) or the Host Domain (for web apps).
- Choose Your Region: Tell us if you're in Europe or the Rest of the World. This determines which licensing agreement applies.
- Generate Key: Click "Generate" and wait for your license key to be created.
- Select Development Environment: Choose your development environment (e.g., Android, iOS, Flutter).
- Copy or Download Key: Copy the license key code snippet or download it.
- Integrate Key: Paste the license key into your application's code. Make sure to copy it exactly as provided, including all characters and line breaks.
If you misplace your key, simply return to docs.scanbot.io/trial/ to retrieve any previously generated keys, as long as they're still valid.
Can I renew an expired trial license key?
No, but you can contact us for an extended trial license.
We understand that the standard trial period will not always be enough to fully evaluate our SDK's capabilities for your use case.

Can I create multiple free 7-day trial licenses?
No, you can't create multiple free 7-day trial licenses for the same application ID or domain. However, you can create multiple trial licenses if you're developing and testing different applications.
Each unique application ID or domain gets only one free 7-day trial license. However, we understand that developers often work on multiple projects simultaneously. Therefore, we allow you to generate up to three trial licenses in total across different application IDs or domains. This helps you develop and test distinct applications.
