Linux Barcode Scanner SDK

The Scanbot Linux Barcode Scanner SDK provides simple-to-use high-level APIs with a collection of classes and functions for scanning and parsing 1D and 2D barcodes.

Requirements

The Scanbot Linux Barcode Scanner SDK supports the following platforms:

• Linux systems with glibc ≥ 2.27
  (for example, Ubuntu ≥ 18.04, Debian ≥ 11, Raspberry Pi OS 64-bit)
• NVIDIA Jetson devices
  • CPU only: all Jetson devices
  • GPU acceleration: Jetson AGX Orin Series, Jetson Orin NX Series, Jetson Orin Nano Series
    • Jetpack 6.1
    • CUDA 12.6
    • TensorRT 10.3
• Raspberry Pi devices
  • Pi 4 series supported, but not recommended
  • Pi 5 series recommended

Java

• Java ≥ 8

Python

• Python ≥ 3.6
• pip, setuptools, wheel

Node.js

• Node.js ≥ 14
• npm ≥ 6 (or Yarn ≥ 1.22)

No internet connection required

The Scanbot SDK works completely offline. All data generated by the SDK remains on the running device/server and is never transmitted to any third-party servers.
