Scanning a barcode from an image with the Linux Barcode Scanner

The Barcode Scanner SDK can detect barcodes not only from a live camera stream but also from still images loaded from the file system or any other source.

This page shows the minimal scan flow for processing a single image input.

Provide your input image via an ImageRef abstraction.

Parse structured barcode documents​

Some barcodes contain structured data (e.g., ID cards, boarding passes, medical documents). To extract their fields, use the document parser functionality.
