Filtering barcode symbologies with the Web Barcode Scanner SDK

Overview

Restricting scanning to specific barcode types prevents unintended scans and improves the scanner’s performance, as it doesn’t need to check each supported symbology.

You can restrict scanning either to individual barcode symbologies or groups of symbologies.

Please refer to BarcodeFormat (individual symbologies) and BarcodeFormats (groups of symbologies) in the API documentation to learn more.
