Types of ID documents and data fields supported by the iOS Document Data Extractor Module
The Document Data Extractor supports the following types of documents and fields.
The table below uses the following abbreviations:
- VIZ (Visual Inspection Zone): contains various data about the document holder and the document in a non-standardized format
- MRZ (Machine-Readable Zone): standardized data format on ID documents and passports, containing personal and document-related data
- CAN (Card Access Number): security feature for electronic authentication, e.g., when using the online identification function (eID)
