Cleaning documents with the Flutter Document Scanner SDK
Overview
Document Cleanup lets the end user erase unwanted artifacts from a scanned page while preserving the underlying document content. Artifacts include handwriting, stamps, stains, fingers, shadows, and other distracting elements. The user paints over the regions to remove. The SDK then reconstructs a clean result image, with optional text preservation.
Starting the Cleanup Screen for a document page
To clean up a page of an existing document, pass the document and page UUIDs to DocumentCleanupStandaloneConfiguration and start the Cleanup Screen with ScanbotSdk.documentEnhancer.startDocumentCleanupScreen. When the user confirms the edits, the SDK saves them to the page and returns the updated DocumentData.
To let users open the Cleanup Screen from the Review Screen of the Document Scanning Flow instead, see RTU UI Cleanup Screen.
